Services Provided

Provides emergency assistance to individuals and families living with HIV/AIDS who have experienced a temporary financial crisis. Financial services are based on the availability of funds. For assistance, you must apply online at http://dallas.govtech.kinetechcloud.com/p/hopwa
No walk-ins allowed.

Eligibility Requirements

-Must be diagnosed with HIV/AIDS
-U.S. government issued ID or secondary information
-Social Security Card for all household members
-Current lease agreement or proof of ownership
-Proof of household income for the last 30 days
-Utility Bill
-Eviction notice or mortgage delinquency notice
-Receipts for bills/expenses paid in the last 30 days

Application Process

Must be referred to the program.
Must have HIV/AIDS diagnosis
Must reside in Collin, Dallas, Denton, Eliis, Hunt, Kaufman or Rockwall counties only

Limits

Application submission does not guarantee approval. Applicants cannot reside in HUD subsidized housing programs like (Dallas Housing Authority, Section 8, HOPWA TBRA or voucher rent assistance).
