Services Provided

The Homelessness Prevention Program assists those who are at imminent risk of homelessness within 14 days by providing short term rental assistance and budget and housing counseling. The Rapid Rehousing Program is for clients who are already literally homeless and helps them to quickly obtain and sustain proper housing.

Eligibility Requirements

-Be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
-Meet a qualified HUD homeless person definition:
-Someone living in a place not meant for habitation (on the street, in a car, in a park, etc.),
-Someone living in an emergency shelter, including a hotel/motel paid by a nonprofit or faith-based organization, or
-Someone who is fleeing domestic violence. Persons fleeing domestic violence should first contact the National Domestic Violence Hotline at (800) 799-7233
-Provide documented verification of homeless verification (must be from a 3rd party witness)
-Must be able to pass apartment application rental/background criteria
